A space of peace and healing

Craniosacral treatment can help you to reconnect with your inner peace and restore your  physical and emotional well-being.

’These pains you feel are messengers. Listen to them.‘

- Rumi

I am glad you are here!

My name is Gyöngyi.

Life often feels like walking on a tightrope — trying to please everyone while never having enough time to pause and listen to your own needs.

Your body will only let you ignore its messages for so long before it turns up the volume.

And when it eventually speaks louder it speaks in the language of chronic pain, anxiety, stress and fatigue.

Craniosacral treatment offers a quiet space to slow down, unwind, reconnect with yourself, and understand what your body has been trying to tell you.

The fact that you have found your way here means you want change…

Change and stepping into the unknown always require courage and willingness.

This is what you bring with you and I offer trust and presence. I trust you, I trust that you are capable of healing.

I listen and I follow what your body says. I am present with You. I have learned from my own journey that this is all we need to change

We tend to believe that only complicated solutions lead to results, and that we only get the reward if we ‘worked hard enough’; however, this does not have to be true.

When does it stop being true? When you allow it to.

What is craniosacral treatment?

What is craniosacral treatment?

CST is a holistic, light touch manual therapy which aims to release physical and emotional tension stored within the tissues of the body. One of its main focus is to harmonize the central nervous system by improving the movement of cerebrospinal fluid within the meninges, which helps to enhance the body’s self-regulating and self-healing capabilities.

The central nervous system (the brain and spinal cord) is protected and nourished by the craniosacral system. This anatomical system has two endpoints: the skull (cranium) and the sacrum—this is where the term “craniosacral” comes from. The elements of the system are the meninges and the cerebrospinal fluid. This fluid flows rhythmically within the membranes, transporting nutrients and waste products as well as protecting the brain from mechanical impacts.

By gently mobilizing the cranial bones and the sacrum, tissue tensions and blockages within the meninges can release, allowing cerebrospinal fluid to flow freely, which affects the functioning of the central nervous system.

The central nervous system (through the peripheral nervous system) connects to all our organs, so when it is in balance it positively effects the entire body.

How does it work?

How does it work?

Your body remembers everything.

Physical and emotional traumas, as well as everyday stress, leave imprints in the body — the tissues and the nervous system remember everything.

We can think of the body as an interrelated, interwoven biological fabric. If any part of this fabric is distorted by a physical or an emotional trauma then the whole body is affected in some way.

That is why releasing tension in one area can bring relief to the entire body, allowing the body’s natural self-correction and self-healing processes to activate.

Self-healing is key.

Today’s world often makes us doubt our body’s innate healing intelligence.

Yet this inner wisdom heals a wound without instruction and this same inner wisdom can create a child from two cells.

When you are in balance physically, mentally, and emotionally, your body’s self-healing processes can function optimally.

The further you get from this balanced state (due to daily stress, unresolved trauma, poor sleep, poor diet or an inactive lifestyle), the more difficult it is for these processes to function properly — and small problems often grow into bigger ones.
